Dave has been an Oshkosh resident for 30 years and was the Business Editor at the local newspaper for 15 years and the Credit Manager for the Oshkosh Northwestern for 5 years.

Dave was active in the Area Boy Scouts for 15 years where he was awarded the Silver Beaver as an Adult Leader. He is a Past President of the Wisconsin Sports Editor Association and was a Past President of Sawdust City Officials Association of Oshkosh.
